These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HireMeAI website, mobile experience, AI tools, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by HireMeAI, a sole proprietorship (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

HireMeAI is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) career platform. We provide self-serve AI tools and information to help job seekers and employers in Africa. We do not provide regulated financial, legal, immigration, or employment advice.

1. The Service

HireMeAI is an AI-powered career platform built for Africa. It includes tools for building CVs and cover letters, scoring CVs, practising interviews, discovering career paths, searching and matching jobs, tracking applications, and helping employers post jobs and rank candidates. Features available to you depend on whether you are on a Free, Premium, Pro, Business, or Institution plan.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate, complete information when you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break any law or regulation;
  • send spam, scams, fraud, or misleading content;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • upload malware, viruses, or attempt to interfere with our systems;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse our APIs or AI features;
  • discriminate against candidates or job seekers;
  • create fake profiles, fake job postings, or fake reviews.

4. Payments, subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

Seller and payment processing. HireMeAI (a South African sole proprietorship) is the seller of record for all orders. Payments, including recurring subscriptions, are processed securely by PayFast, a licensed South African payment gateway. Customer service, cancellations and refunds are handled directly by HireMeAI at billing@hiremeai.africa.

5. Intellectual property

HireMeAI owns all rights to the Service, including its software, designs, branding, logos, and content generated by our platform infrastructure. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal career or internal hiring needs. You keep ownership of the data and content you upload, and you give us permission to host and process it only so we can provide the Service.

6. AI-generated content

CVs, cover letters, interview feedback, career suggestions, and other outputs are generated with AI. They are intended as helpful starting points, not professional, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any content before you submit it to an employer or third party.

7. Service level

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay when due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable-use rules. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireMeAI is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, data, or opportunities) arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of South Africa, unless both parties agree otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
